Chapter 461

With Usopp and Sanji dropped to a lower floor by Oars, Luffy, Chopper, and Robin push on toward the freezer where Moria lounges. In the dance hall they run into Hogback and Cindry; Chopper urges Luffy ahead and squares off against his former idol, vowing to deal with the doctor himself. Robin helps Luffy slip past Cindry, and the captain finally reaches the resting Warlord. Hogback, recognizing Chopper, summons the zombies Inuppe and Jigoro to assist him.

Back at the wrecked bridge, Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, and Franky brace for the giant zombie, but Oars simply perches a chunk of debris on his head like a bicorne and wanders off, ignoring them. Franky quickly fashions a makeshift bridge from rubble so the four can cross into the Mast Mansion. There they enter Perona's chamber and learn she ate the Horo Horo no Mi, granting her command of every ghost on the island. She immobilizes the group with her spirits, but one figure stays upright and keeps purifying her zombies: Usopp, whose chronic pessimism makes him immune to her negativity.

The chapter title nods to the film Ghostbusters, referencing Usopp's resistance to Perona. Unable to fathom anyone so negative, Perona and her zombies fail to cheer him up. Usopp tells his crewmates he will handle her, and the three others move on to find Brook and Nami, leaving him alone with Perona and her Wild Zombies despite his protests. In the church, Absalom leans toward the still-sleeping Nami to seal the marriage with a kiss.
