Saved from Oars, Franky is stunned that Brook can move at all, and the skeleton credits milk he found beside the kitchen salt for mending his broken bones, brushing off Usopp's doubts. With the only kitchen route now sealed, Sanji notes the salt Brook carried is their last chance. Moria, riding inside Oars, vows to show the crew real nightmares. Brook pledges to fight in gratitude for his returned shadow but quickly buckles from pain, and Zoro tells him to rest and guard the salt instead.

The crew chains attacks: Usopp's oil star ignited by Franky into a fire bird, Zoro slicing a building into blocks, Sanji kicking the pieces with Jenga Cannon, and a makeshift slingshot launching Franky, though Oars dodges and counters each time. Nami stuns the giant with a Thunderbolt Tempo, only to be spotted and nearly crushed before Robin rescues her. Oars suddenly gains the power to stretch his limbs. In the forest, Luffy meets the Rolling Pirates under captain Lola, who claim to understand Moria's ability and offer Luffy great power to beat him.

Part of the Thriller Bark Arc, the chapter reveals Brook can heal bone injuries by drinking milk, has Nami join the fight, gives Oars an unexplained stretching ability, and introduces the Rolling Pirates and captain Lola, with the Risky Brothers' human forms shown.
