Summary

At Shakky's Rip-off Bar, Rayleigh praises Luffy for coming this far and figures Shanks is waiting for him in the New World. As Rayleigh weighs coating the ship, Robin raises the Will of D. She recounts finding a message carved in the Shandora Poneglyph, signed by Gol D. Roger, vowing to carry its passage to the world's ends, and asks whether Rayleigh knows what occurred during the Void Century. He answers that he knows it all but urges her not to rush. He offers to share what the Roger Pirates uncovered, yet Robin declines, choosing to reach the truth herself alongside the crew.

Rayleigh laments the destruction of Ohara and notes that, though Roger could hear all things, the pirates lacked the scholarly insight of men like Clover. When Usopp asks whether the One Piece truly sits on the final island of Laugh Tale, an annoyed Luffy cuts in, refusing to let Rayleigh spoil the answer and threatening to quit piracy over so dull an adventure.

Key Events

Rayleigh asks if Luffy can survive the New World's monsters, and Luffy answers as the future Pirate King, winning Shakky over as a fan. Setting out to coat the Thousand Sunny, Rayleigh agrees with Zoro that the crew should split given the Admiral's presence, hands each member a Vivre Card, and says the coating will take three days. As they part, Franky voices his respect for Rayleigh and the Roger Pirates, who all sailed the Oro Jackson.

When Kizaru lands, pirates flee, but one tries to make his name by shooting the Admiral; the bullet passes harmlessly through his head, hinting at a Logia power. Kizaru merely asks after Sentomaru, then raises a leg, and distant buildings erupt. Across the island, Marines are turned into children or elders by Jewelry Bonney, Capone Bege boasts of superior military might, and Basil Hawkins braces to face Kizaru. The Straw Hats, meanwhile, are halted by an unseen figure.

Notes

The color spread is billed as the Straw Hats' Declaration of War. Rayleigh clarifies that Roger could not read Poneglyphs as Robin can, but rather heard them through the Voice of All Things. Bonney's power is shown to alter the ages of others, not only herself, and Kizaru is fully introduced and revealed for the first time.
