The General Franky brawl rages on, Baby 5 reforming after her missile assault while Buffalo offers her the weapons he scavenged, noting she is already a living arsenal. Franky shrugs off her revolver blast and counters. On the tanker, Caesar grasps that the pair came to rescue him, still gripping what he believes is Smoker's heart. Meanwhile Doflamingo telephones the dismembered Vergo to thank his oldest companion for years of loyalty, and even in pieces Vergo smiles.

In the transport corridor an explosion from the SAD room sends rocks raining down. Law warns that a collapse would bury everyone alive, and when the path ahead caves in, Zoro simply clears it. Monet, alone in Building C, stands ready to press the button, silently bidding her beloved Shichibukai farewell and naming him the future Pirate King.

Caesar drives a sharp object into the heart, crowing "Die, Smoker!" Yet Smoker stands unharmed while Monet crumples, blood pouring from her mouth and a cube-shaped hole opening in her chest. She dies before activating the self-destruct. Smoker asks why Caesar thought he held his heart, and Law explains the switch: during the fight he ended up with both Smoker's and Monet's hearts, and quietly returned Monet's, trusting that good deeds earn good returns.

Law then asks whether anyone can summon wind for the gas outside; the Marines scoff until Nami reveals she can. On Dressrosa, Sugar finds Doflamingo's room empty with the window open, and Lao G notes he has gone off alone again. Soaring above the sea, Doflamingo, shown able to fly by some unknown means, brushes off Baby 5 and Buffalo's struggle and announces he is coming to Punk Hazard.

The title points to Doflamingo, whose self-propelled flight first appears here. The cover continues the Caribou serial, the thief robbing the old woman who healed him. The heart swap that saves Smoker and kills Monet stands as the chapter's pivotal reveal, undoing Doflamingo's contingency plan in a single stroke.
