Chapter 724

Sanji presses Doflamingo with Diable Jambe and several kicks, but the warlord dodges, lands his Goshikito, then takes mental control of Sanji's body and readies a whip strike called Overheat. As the crew panics, Sanji orders Nami to flee with a Coup de Burst rather than save him.

From shore Law throws a log and uses Shambles within a Room, swapping himself in to wrench Sanji, Caesar, and Doflamingo clear. Doflamingo's unstoppable Overheat carries all the way to Dressrosa and bisects a building. Law lands the trio on the deck, reveals Caesar's heart had been hidden inside his own chest, and orders the crew to make for Zou using the Vivre Card he gave them.

Nami resists abandoning Luffy, but a Marine warship and a meteor barrage from Fujitora force their hand. Law redirects a meteor into the battleship's hull, prompting Issho to retreat. Catching Doflamingo's rope on his sword Kikoku, Law shields the launch with Giolla as hostage. On the bridge he severs the alliance, explaining it only ever existed to halt SMILE production, and declares his real aim is vengeance for what Doflamingo did thirteen years ago.

Law saves Sanji from Doflamingo. Sanji demonstrates that he can ignite his leg for Diable Jambe without spinning first. Doflamingo's fruit is named the Ito Ito no Mi, his Overheat shown strong enough to destroy a Dressrosa building, and his strings revealed to attach to clouds for sky travel, the first time he names his attacks.

Caesar's heart was concealed inside Law while Law's own heart sat on the Sunny. The crew, Sanji, and Caesar set course for Zou as Law uses Giolla as a hostage to cover their escape. Law states the alliance only existed to stop SMILE manufacture and that even if he falls, Kaidou will still target Doflamingo, and admits a thirteen-year-old grudge.

The cover is a color spread showing the Straw Hats and their Fish-Man Island friends relaxing at the Mermaid Cafe. Sanji argues that Dressrosa was meant to be a minor stepping stone and warns Law that he seems too fixated on Doflamingo, foreshadowing tension between their goals.
