Chapter 766

Bleeding from his run-in with the patrol, Rosinante reaches Law and presses the Op-Op Fruit on him. When the boy doubts it can save him, Rosinante forces it down his throat, then crumples from his wounds. He asks Law one favor, to carry an intelligence letter to a Marine spy ship on the island's west side, vowing it will spare the kingdom of Dressrosa from his brother's cruelty. Law, frantic over the bullet holes covering his friend, tries clumsily to use the new power, but Rosinante reminds him it is no instant magic and sends him off.

Law finds a lone Marine and hands him the letter, then begs him to save his wounded friend. The man, Vergo, carries the boy to Rosinante and is stunned to recognize Corazon, who in his shock blurts out and exposes his voice. Suspicious, Vergo reads the letter, realizes it holds enough to destroy the family, and shreds it before brutally kicking Rosinante and choking Law. He then phones Doflamingo and reveals the betrayal. Learning his own brother is the mole, Doflamingo strips Corazon of his name and orders the fruit recovered, but the pair slip away. The warlord answers by raising his Birdcage over much of Minion Island, trapping everyone. Knowing he is finished, Rosinante resolves to make saving Law his final act and smiles, hoping the boy will remember him grinning.

Law eats the Op-Op Fruit, originally valued at five billion. Rosinante's secret document, capable of ruining Doflamingo's seizure of Dressrosa, instead falls to Vergo, whose Armament Haki and loyalty to the family are confirmed. Rosinante had vanished from the family at age eight and returned fourteen years on. The cover pays tribute to the finale of Naruto with Luffy eating ramen, and the chapter is part of the Dressrosa Arc.
