As the towering Pica advances on King Riku's plateau, the Donquixote underlings cheer and the other fighters scramble for an answer. Elizabello readies his King Punch, but Zoro halts him, explaining that Pica would simply rebuild himself, and asks for two minutes before sprinting to Orlumbus with a request to be thrown.

Cannon fire only gets the gunners crushed, so Riku reveals his position to draw the attack, ordering Tank Lepanto and Viola to evacuate everyone. Across the island, Orlumbus questions the risk, but Zoro insists there is no time for caution and is launched toward the executive.

Coating his swords in armament Haki for the first time in plain view, Zoro declares nothing in the world is beyond his cut. Pica taunts Riku for loving peace too much, but the former king answers that he is proud to have stayed human and refuses to take a life to survive. Before the blow lands, Zoro shears the stone body in two, keeps slicing until Pica is forced out, then cuts the Haki-armored officer down in mid-air.
