The remaining crewmates rush to head off the arrivals before things turn violent.

Leading a host through Kurau City, Nekomamushi rounds a corner and meets Inuarashi head-on, their followers scrambling to keep them apart. The crew shoves the pair behind a chunk of rubble just in time. Old grievances fuel the quarrel, with flashbacks showing how each ruler lost a limb defying Jack, who had threatened them to drag Raizo's location out of them. The taunting boils over until the two draw their weapons and swear a duel to the death, only for Kin'emon to emerge and shout for them to stop.

Declaring his service as a Wano retainer sworn to the Kouzuki line, Kin'emon admits the swordsmen have been searching for Raizo. To universal shock the minks, rulers included, kneel with bowed heads and reveal that Raizo lives and is safe. The crew is stunned that the tribe knew his whereabouts all along and would sooner have perished than hand him to Jack. Nekomamushi asks pardon for the secrecy, citing the minks' long bond with the Kouzuki line. The monkey mink is also confirmed to be Bariete.
