Chapter 822

Chopper and the minks finish dressing the wound on Zunesha's leg, Miyagi marveling at the techniques the doctor learned in the Sakura and Torino Kingdoms. Realizing the elephant can communicate, Miyagi reflects that the minks merely live on its back and one day that arrangement will end, leaving him eager to ask where it is bound. In Kurau City, Momonosuke tells Kin'emon he wishes to stay and learn more from Zunesha about his family.

Inuarashi offers to remain alongside the young lord to shield Zou from Kaidou, and Kin'emon settles the split into four teams: Luffy's for Sanji, his own for Wano, Nekomamushi's to find Marco, and Momonosuke's staying put. Lacking Den Den Mushi, the minks rely on Franky, who pledges to build some from forest snails. Luffy finds Pekoms buried in his wrecked house, learns the mink ate the Kame Kame no Mi, and bundles him up to begin the voyage despite his protests.

Many minks beg to join the rescue, but Nekomamushi entrusts the role to Pedro alone, the only one able to keep Pekoms in check.
