Onward to Wano Country

Aboard the Thousand Sunny, Nami shares news of the Levely, and the crew pores over photos of old friends and foes, with Sanji swooning over Vivi and Chopper clipping out Kureha's picture. Luffy is delighted to see familiar faces and resolves to visit them after the journey, then tries reaching their Wano allies by Den Den Mushi without success. A strange storm with wild winds and waves closes in, and Nami recalls Kin'emon's warning that terrible weather always surrounds the country.

A saluting octopus lands on the ship as a school of giant carp surrounds it, and Sanji is stunned to find a freshwater species at sea. Luffy gets yanked overboard wrestling one fish while the crew battles the towering waves. The unnaturally clear water sweeps them to the foot of a waterfall the carp are climbing, and Luffy grabs two of them to haul the Sunny upward. At the top they plunge into a whirlpool, and Luffy is dragged under before washing up on a beach beside the capsized ship.

The crew learns of the Levely through the newspaper, which also hints at developments involving Big Mom and Kaidou, and Wano is confirmed to be ringed by perpetual storms. The Sunny group reaches Wano but ends up separated. A crab pinching his nose wakes Luffy, who spots a komainu hurled into the Sunny and a sword-wielding giant baboon approaching; the weapon convinces him he has arrived in Wano. The chapter art notably echoes The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
