Summary

As Holed'em drops to the earth, Luffy scoops up Tama, and Zoro directs Komachiyo to keep hauling him, Kiku, and the loaded cart toward the town gate. Spying the back half of Speed's equine body, Luffy takes her for an ordinary mount and springs onto it. When she grasps the situation and rages while her underlings charge, Luffy instructs Tama to fashion a dumpling from her cheek and pacify the headliner with it. Even though Tama warns that the treat fails on people, Speed devours it anyway and, to everyone's shock, turns gentle and obedient. Galloping flat out, she overtakes the cart as her baffled crewmates give chase, and Tama tells Luffy that striking Holed'em with Red Hawk made him resemble Ace. By the front gate, the concealed Law starts his ROOM to finish Hawkins, but that technique plus the ink on his hands betrays him. Shambles lets Law appear right at Hawkins's side and slash him crosswise, yet the injury transfers to an underling. Hawkins converts his blade into straw and peels off Law's mask, while Law tries to void the power by cutting each underling apart, and their weapons meet. Hawkins reveals he is aware of Law's pact and that Holed'em has fallen and Jack has been told.

Key Events

Right then the runaway cart crashes into view, and Law leaps aboard, furiously berating Zoro for leaving his position and landing them in trouble. The food reaches Okobore, where the residents celebrate as heaps of fresh provisions are handed out. Batman with two fellow Gifters tries to interfere, only to be flattened when Luffy drops an enormous basin of water for the people to drink. Grateful townsfolk thank him, and he calls it payment for the meal Tama once shared, urging her not to be content with a single cart and vowing that before he leaves she will eat until full each day. Those words mirror the promise Ace made during his own stay, and she starts to weep. Law then announces a move to the ruined Oden Castle on a nearby peak to meet the ghosts of the land, and the view shifts to that summit, where markers stand for Raizo, Kanjuro, Kin'emon, then Momonosuke, and finally Kouzuki Oden.

Notes

Speed now answers to Tama, proving that her fruit works on SMILE eaters since they are partly animal, though it never affects regular people. A short clash passes between Law and Hawkins. Word of Holed'em's fall reaches Jack. Rejoining Law, Luffy and Zoro are taken to what remains of Oden's stronghold, where tombstones bear four names: Momonosuke, Kin'emon, Kanjuro, plus Raizo.
