Chapter 93

Snapping a piece off Arlong's bladed Kiribachi, Luffy demands to know what the fish-man truly thinks Nami is. Arlong calls her useful and pledges to indulge her every desire as long as she keeps charting maps. Outside, Johnny and Yosaku fret over what is unfolding within the tower. Luffy kicks Nami's drafting desk clean out of the structure, and she watches stunned as it plummets. Arlong, baffled and furious that her cartography tools are being flung into the open air, swings Kiribachi, but Luffy slips the blow, wrecking more of her maps in the process. Remembering the long hours and abuse he inflicted to extract that work, Arlong seizes Luffy and shouts that the maps took eight years to make, while below, Nami quietly thanks Luffy as tears stream down.

Arlong sinks his teeth into Luffy's neck, but Luffy grabs hold of his nose, declaring that although he understands nothing of fish-men or mapmaking, he now knows how to help Nami, and he wrenches the nose out of joint. Refusing to let the room stand, Luffy kicks into the ceiling, his leg stretching up through the roof. Arlong resets his nose, scoffs at a human leveling Arlong Park, and bites into Luffy's chest, only for Luffy to bring his foot down and hammer him to the ground floor. The blow fractures the whole tower; the Straw Hats and townsfolk move to evacuate, but Nami cries out for Luffy as the building caves in around him.

Luffy breaks Arlong's nose, defeats him, and brings down Arlong Park. The chapter falls within the Arlong Park Arc. Its cover continues the Diary of Koby-Meppo serial, Vol. 10, in which Morgan ambushes Vice-Admiral Garp with a seemingly fatal blow as Koby and Helmeppo scream and Garp's aide Bogard springs into action.
