Perospero confirms through her Vivre Card that Linlin still lives, and the crew guesses Kaidou's forces may be holding her, though Smoothie doubts ordinary logic applies to their mother. In Amigasa Village, Hitetsu panics when he reaches Tama and learns her party is escorting Big Mom toward Udon with Momonosuke in tow, but the group simply cuts the line on him.

Riding a crocodile-shark across Kuri's barren stretches, Kiku half-remembers Big Mom's name while Chopper waves it off, noting her talking hat has stayed silent.
