Summary

Homeless Emperor pours a scorching stream of energy spheres onto Iaian, Spring Mustachio, and Atomic Samurai. The two A-Class heroes are steadily worn down while Atomic Samurai fights to free his new weapon, the Sun Blade. He recalls Nichirin's words that the blade is telepathic and answers only to those it judges worthy. Quieting his mind into a still, reflective calm, he finally earns the sword's response.

With the blade in hand, Atomic Samurai vaults upward and cleaves through Homeless Emperor's enormous sphere. Rattled, Homeless Emperor hurls dozens more orbs, but they cannot touch the Sun Blade. As the swordsman moves to cut down the weakened foe, Golden Sperm throws himself in the way. The blade only skims his hardened body, yet when he tries to snap it, the sword bends impossibly and shears off half his right arm. It then sheathes itself as Atomic Samurai, spent, loses his grip on it. Both monsters register the weapon's danger but quickly grasp that he cannot keep using it. Evil Natural Water resurfaces, startling Iaian, who believed Darkshine had destroyed it. As the pair prepares to counterattack, a rumble sounds behind them.

King appears. Black Sperm, Golden Sperm, Homeless Emperor, and Evil Natural Water all steel themselves against the lone hero. Metal Bat shows up meaning to help but chooses instead to keep any escaping clones contained, while Child Emperor and Puri-Puri Prisoner climb out of the rubble. The heroes relax at King's presence, though inside he is terrified and regrets ever trying to save Genos, aware these monsters are strong enough to face him without fear.
