Anya, alarmed by what she reads in his head, resolves to befriend Damian and dig up his family's secrets before Yor can win their Friendship Scheme contest. Damian arrives separately with Ewen, Emile, and their butlers, perking up only when Jeeves hints his mother could be nearby. The groups collide, Anya's staged display of friendship with Damian flops, and Loid smooths over the orientation incident with Jeeves while quietly mapping out how the butlers fit his plans.

More Eden families keep arriving. Loid greets Becky's father Byron Blackbell, sizes up Bill Watkins's father Wesley as a future source on military movements, and writes off the Gloomans as intel-poor. A crowd forms around the famous students, celebrating Anya as the bus hijacking's hero, and Loid works the parents, inviting anyone with lingering trauma to visit him at the hospital. When Denis Glooman fishes for Donovan's whereabouts, Jeeves deflects, and Loid notes the butler would never leak such information. Stung by being lumped in with commoners, Damian challenges Anya and Becky to ring toss with festival banishment as the stakes, and Bill and George join in.

Watching the children play, the adults soften. Loid reveals that Plan C involves approaching Melinda Desmond through Lady Patriots Society events. The Forgers, Desmonds, Blackbells, Watkinses, and Gloomans all cross paths at the festival, with Byron Blackbell's and Wesley Watkins's names disclosed for the first time. Jeeves's wish for the children's own happiness triggers Loid's first real guilt over using Anya.

Damian wins the ring toss contest but lets Anya and Becky stay after seeing Anya cry. The chapter ends with Yor and Anya unmasking the fortune teller Lunaluna☽Selena as Melinda.

The festival's star fortune teller, Magical★Crowley, carries the same surname as Arnold Crowley; Chapter 112 later confirms the two are father and son, in an apparent nod to the occultist Aleister Crowley. Melinda's stage name stacks moon references, Luna being Latin for moon while Selena carries the same meaning in Greek.
