Seidou Takizawa and Yumitsu Tomoe watch Koutarou Amon take a beating from Donato Porpora's kagune. Takizawa says he came to give something back to Amon, while Tomoe asks whether his worries might move him to act, and later whether he would rather see Amon dead.
On the rooftops, Uta chases Renji Yomo with a cluster of kakuja arms and pins him to a wall as Itori looks on. When the kakuja starts eating Yomo, he breaks free with his pseudo-electrokinesis, though his counter-shock leaves Uta unharmed. Uta says he will not use his full strength unless Yomo fights for his life, then hurls him onto another roof. Yomo leaps off the building, and as Uta dives after him, he impales Uta on a lightning rod, electrocuting and destroying the kakuja, noting they are too grown for such games.
