Takeshita directed three major Dragon Ball Super episodes: episode 36 in the Universe 6 Saga featuring Vegeta's full-power confrontation, episode 42 in the Copy-Vegeta Saga's chaotic victory party and Monaka showdown, and episode 50 during the Future Trunks Saga's climactic Goku versus Goku Black battle. He also storyboarded episode 50, contributing to the visual planning and composition. His work captures the franchise's emphasis on character dynamics and transformative moments, using direction to highlight emotional beats alongside action choreography.
