Shinichiro Ohta provided the Japanese voice for Kibito Kai across Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball Super. This fusion character, combining the wisdom of Supreme Kai Shin with Kibito's loyalist energy, required Ohta to deliver both commanding authority and supportive presence. In Dragon Ball Super, Ohta also voiced Shin the Supreme Kai of Universe 7 in scenes focusing on the divine Kais overseeing Goku's challenges.
Wider Career
Beyond Dragon Ball, Ohta voiced Taro Soramame in the remake of Dr. Slump and gained Western recognition for his role as the kitchen reporter in Iron Chef. His other anime work includes characters in One Piece (Zaba, Shura, Peeply Lulu, Momonga) and Yu Gi Oh! GX. As a television announcer, he brought his professional credibility to multiple projects throughout his career.
