Appearance

A member of the Longarm Tribe, Shuzo is a big, heavily built man with dark skin. His black hair is gathered into a topknot, and his blue eyes sit beneath bushy brows, while his beard and lengthy nose hair both fan outward like mustaches. His armor consists of deep red guards over his arms together with a chestplate colored red and yellow that bears a white emblem at its center.

Personality

Forceful, commanding, and accustomed to getting his way, Shuzo refuses to take orders and covets the rank of second-in-command under Z, a position currently held by Ain. He shares Z's wish to wipe out every pirate rather than merely jail them, which is why he hunted Panz Fry even after the man had been captured and was bound for Impel Down. He carries a signature laugh of bah rararara, and toward his own followers he proves notably warm and honorable, assuring them their deaths would never be meaningless. A rivalry with Ain colors much of his conduct; she once bested him for the second-in-command rank, and he refuses to obey her, scheming instead to seize the post for himself.

Abilities

Before his defection, Shuzo ranked as a Marine Commodore trained personally by Z, and within the Neo Marines he led his own fleet beside Alpacacino, having raided countless pirates across the Maubeugemour Sea. His Longarm anatomy lets him whirl his arms like flails, and his raw might allows him to trade blows with a Vice Admiral, fell a giant, and briefly overpower Luffy. He commands four of the Six Powers techniques, namely Soru, Shigan, Geppo, and Tekkai, with his Tekkai strong enough to brush aside Gear 2 strikes; his Shigan appears in unique forms he dubs Shigan Five as well as Shigan Ten. He further wields Armament Haki capable of matching and canceling Luffy's own, and in battle he fires his partner Alpacacino, a bazooka that consumed a Zoan Devil Fruit, to launch Haki-laced rounds that strike even Devil Fruit users. As the main antagonist driving the Z's Ambition Arc, he ultimately falls to Luffy and is hauled off to Impel Down by Momonga.
