A massive, saucer-shaped command vessel serving as Frieza's mobile base of operations, designed to house his army and equipped with advanced gravity-control propulsion.
Frieza's Spaceship is a large, saucer-shaped command vessel that serves as the tyrant's primary base of operations and flagship. Designed by the Frieza Force scientist Kikono, the ship's exterior is styled to resemble a hermit crab. Rather than using conventional jet propulsion, the entire bottom section functions as an anti-gravitational device, allowing the ship to move through gravity manipulation.
The interior contains multiple levels with extensive facilities. The ship houses a command bridge, crew quarters for Frieza's soldiers, a medical bay with healing tanks (Rejuvenation Chambers), storage areas, and Frieza's personal quarters where he can be found seated in his Hover Pod. The vessel is large enough to serve as a mobile garrison, carrying significant numbers of troops and their equipment across the galaxy.
The spaceship played a central role during the Namek Saga, where it served as Frieza's headquarters while he hunted for the Namekian Dragon Balls. The Z Fighters frequently infiltrated the ship or fought near it during this arc. Vegeta notably broke into the ship to steal the Dragon Balls Frieza had already collected, and Krillin and Gohan used the ship's healing tanks to recover from battle injuries.
During the Frieza Saga climax, the ship was heavily damaged and eventually destroyed in Namek's explosion. A rebuilt version appeared during Frieza's invasion of Earth alongside his father King Cold, only to be rendered irrelevant when Future Trunks dispatched both tyrants. The ship has appeared in numerous flashbacks and films, including Dragon Ball Super: Broly, where it was shown during the destruction of Planet Vegeta.
