Freeza vs. Piccolo, Part 2

Escalating the Fight

In the aftermath of Piccolo's impressive showing, Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan are left stunned by the Namekian's dramatic leap in power. Krillin believes Piccolo is at least on par with Frieza, but Vegeta corrects him, insisting that Piccolo is actually stronger. All three spectators struggle to understand how Piccolo gained so much strength in such a short span of time. Frieza, however, refuses to be rattled and launches himself at Piccolo. He drives an elbow into the Namekian's face and slams him down into the ground below. The onlookers gasp in alarm.

Taking It to the Skies

Piccolo recovers just in time to dodge a third blow, propelling the fight into the air above Namek. Frieza pursues him skyward and smashes him back down to the surface once more. Krillin realizes with growing horror that Frieza has been suppressing his true power this entire time. Frieza casually confirms the suspicion, and Vegeta's face twists with dread at the revelation.

Two Fighters Get Serious

Refusing to stay down, Piccolo removes his weighted cape and turban, declaring that he too has been fighting below his maximum. He vows to avenge every Namekian that Frieza slaughtered and throws himself back into the battle at full speed. Gohan's spirits lift as he begins to believe victory is possible. Frieza, still composed and smirking, is far from worried. He delivers a chilling announcement: his current body is only his second form, and he still has two more transformations at his disposal. The revelation hits the Z Fighters like a thunderbolt. None of them had imagined that the power they were already struggling against was merely a fraction of what Frieza could unleash. Frieza invites them to witness his next evolution, boasting that no living being has ever laid eyes on it before.
