Trunks Returns!

Piccolo Ambushed

Android 20 decides to target Piccolo first, identifying him as the strongest fighter after Vegeta. He strikes from behind and covers Piccolo's mouth to prevent him from calling out. The android boasts that he knows every fighter's position and that no one can see them. However, Piccolo reaches out telepathically to Gohan, who detects a subtle shift in Piccolo's ki. Gohan flies in and slams into Android 20 from behind, knocking the android away. Krillin, Tien, and Vegeta all sense Gohan's energy and converge on the area, surrounding Android 20.

Piccolo Unleashed

Gohan tells Krillin to give Piccolo a Senzu Bean, which restores him completely. Piccolo descends to face Android 20 and removes his weighted cape and turban, warning Vegeta not to interfere. Vegeta replies he does not care if Piccolo dies, but notes that fighting the android only provides it with more energy. Android 20 privately sees this as another chance to drain power, but Piccolo closes the distance instantly and drives a knee into the android's face. The blow sends 20 reeling, stunning the onlookers with Piccolo's speed. Android 20 charges back, and Piccolo elbows the machine into the ground. The android struggles to understand how Piccolo exceeded its calculations even after absorbing energy from Vegeta.

A Time Traveler's Return

Future Trunks arrives from his timeline and lands on Amenbo Island, only to find it deserted. He senses ki from a distant battle and flies toward it. Back in the mountains, Piccolo continues to dominate Android 20. In an airplane heading toward the fight, Bulma and Yajirobe debate whether to get closer. Yajirobe warns Bulma she has baby Trunks with her. Future Trunks flies past their plane, and Bulma recognizes him. Piccolo chops off Android 20's right hand, telling the android that whatever energy it stole was nothing. Future Trunks arrives at the earlier battle site and sees Android 19's severed head on the ground, confused by a machine he does not recognize.
