Granolah returns to Planet Cereal, a world rebuilt by the Heeters and sold to the Sugarians after the Saiyan invasion forty years earlier. On Beerus's planet, Vegeta learns a staggering truth: Beerus ordered Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta. The Heeters uncover the Dragon Balls, and Granolah steals his planet's pair to summon the dragon Toronbo.
Granolah arrives on Cereal, now inhabited by the Sugarians who treat him as one of their own. He refuses to live in their city, choosing the mountains overlooking the old Cerealian ruins instead. Forty years ago, Saiyans led by Bardock devastated this world. The Heeters rebuilt the planet afterward and sold it to the Sugarians, who had lost their own homeworld to an unknown catastrophe.
On Beerus's planet, the God of Destruction questions Vegeta about the Saiyans' violent legacy. He obliterates a decorative planet with ease and warns that clinging to guilt will prevent Vegeta from wielding destructive power. Then Beerus drops a bombshell: he told Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta. Enraged, Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan God SS Evolved and attacks. Beerus dodges effortlessly and uses Hakai to shatter part of Vegeta's armor. Defeated again, Vegeta listens as Beerus explains that his strength flows from total focus on destruction. Before creation comes destruction.
At the Heeters' base, Elec uses Seven-Three's stored memories to view an interrogation of Zuno, learning about the Dragon Balls. He recalls that a lone Namekian named Monaito still lives on Cereal. Back home, Granolah finds Monaito, who warns him against pursuing Frieza. Granolah mentions the planet's Dragon Balls but needs a second orb to summon the dragon. Monaito urges him to abandon revenge. That night, a news broadcast reveals a boy discovered the second Dragon Ball at a local institute. Granolah sneaks in under disguise, steals the orb, and summons the wish-granting dragon Toronbo, declaring his desire to become the strongest warrior in Universe 7.
