Honda voiced Pocawatha in the original Dragon Ball series, a modest part in what would prove to be a legendary career. While this Dragon Ball role remained brief, her exceptional talent would later shine through more substantial characters in many of anime's most celebrated productions.
Born March 28, 1963, in Nagano Prefecture, Honda became a celebrated voice actress working with Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society, Mix Max, and Aoni Production. She is remembered for iconic roles including Elpeo Ple in Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, Meroko Yui in Full Moon wo Sagashite, and Tellu in Sailor Moon S. Honda passed away on February 18, 2013, at age 49.
