Ed Blaylock
Voice ActorAmerican radio announcer and voice actor from Dallas, Texas who worked extensively with Funimation. Thomas Edwin Blaylock Jr., known professionally as Ed Blaylock, voiced numerous characters across Dragon Ball, Case Closed, and many other anime. He passed away in 2017.

Blaylock voiced minor characters in Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball, and Dragon Ball Z Kai, contributing to the English localization of these foundational series. Though his roles were smaller than some of his colleagues, his work helped flesh out the background of the Dragon Ball world. His extensive anime credits demonstrate his value to the dubbing industry across countless projects.
Career and Legacy
Born in Dallas, Texas on September 6, 1952, Blaylock built a career as both a radio announcer and voice actor for Funimation. He became particularly prolific in anime dubbing, appearing in dozens of series and films. Blaylock passed away on April 19, 2017 at the age of 64 after a battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of service to anime localization.
