Rejinean

The Rejinean, known in Japanese as Rejin-seijin, are a humanoid species originating from a world called Rejin. Their physical characteristics are those of relatively ordinary humanoids, lacking the imposing bulk of races like Recoome's or the natural energy manipulation abilities of Saiyans. They appear to be a species of modest power, which is reflected in how the Frieza Force deploys them.

Their homeworld, Rejin, was presumably brought under Frieza Force control at some point during the empire's expansion across the galaxy. Like many species absorbed into the Frieza Force, the Rejinean likely had little choice in the matter, as the alternative to cooperation under Frieza's regime was typically extinction.

In Dragon Ball Online, Rejinean combatants serve as rank-and-file soldiers within the Frieza Force. The fact that many of them are supplied with arm cannons, a type of ray gun mounted on the forearm, suggests that they lack the innate ki manipulation abilities that more powerful species use in combat. This reliance on technology to supplement their natural abilities places them among the weaker races conscripted into Frieza's military.

Some Rejinean soldiers carry batons instead of arm cannons, indicating different combat roles within the force. Others are tasked with leading Saibamen units, the disposable plant-based warriors grown from seeds that the Frieza Force uses as shock troops. This leadership role, while modest, suggests the Rejinean are trusted enough to manage other assets in the field even if they are not frontline powerhouses themselves.

The Rejinean are part of an extensive list of alien races controlled by the Frieza Force, standing alongside species ranging from the mighty Saiyans to the shape-shifting Zarbon's race. Their inclusion in Dragon Ball Online helped flesh out the scale of Frieza's empire by demonstrating that it was not built solely on a handful of elite warriors but on countless ordinary soldiers drawn from dozens of conquered worlds.

No individual Rejinean has been named or given significant characterization in any Dragon Ball media. They exist as a collective representation of the countless alien species ground up by Frieza's galactic conquest machine, serving and fighting not because they chose to but because the alternative was far worse.
