Dragon Ball Super Work

Nii supervised six episodes across the Universe Survival Saga, a remarkable promotion trajectory within the production. He directed episode 82, which opened the tournament with Bergamo's challenge to Goku, and episode 89 featuring the mysterious Caulifla's introduction. He also supervised episode 97, which launched the actual Tournament of Power, episode 113 capturing the Saiyans' reunion joy, episode 122 showcasing Vegeta's pivotal challenge to become the strongest, and episode 129 portraying Goku's transcendent auto-Ultra Instinct mastery. His episodes captured some of the saga's most transformative moments.

His rapid rise from key animator to supervisor reflected his exceptional technical abilities and the production's confidence in his animation control.

Animation Style and Career

Nii became known throughout the Dragon Ball Super production for his ability to animate incredibly quickly without sacrificing quality, an invaluable trait during the series' demanding schedule. Working through Anime R, an external animation studio, he proved his capabilities on key animation assignments before earning a promotion to animation supervisor during the Universe Survival Saga.
