Noriko Shibata

Shibata provided key animation for six episodes of the original Dragon Ball series and appeared extensively across Dragon Ball Z television, contributing to 42 episodes while working with Shindo Pro and other animation studios. Her work covered major sagas from the King Piccolo Saga (episodes 103, 110, 114, 121) through the Piccolo Jr. Saga (episodes 128, 135), and extended through the Z series' later arcs including the Androids and Cell Games sagas. She handled key animation for early Dragon Ball GT episode 1 and delivered key animation for theatrical releases spanning Mystical Adventure, Dead Zone, Lord Slug, The World's Strongest, and the complete Broly trilogy.

Shibata maintained one of anime's most prolific animation careers, with over a hundred television and film credits spanning Gegege no Kitarō, Steins;Gate, Princess Tutu, Yu Yu Hakusho, and numerous others. Her consistency and range established her as a cornerstone of Japanese animation across multiple decades and studios.
