Itō worked in the crucial ink and paint department on Dragon Ball Z, applying color and detail finishing to animated frames. This technical but essential work directly impacted the visual presentation of the series, ensuring that the dynamic action and character designs were brought to vibrant color during the anime's production.
Animation Career
Beyond Dragon Ball Z, Itō contributed paint and trace work to the Jungle Book adaptation Shōnen Mowgli across multiple episodes. She also worked on theatrical films including Gauche the Cellist, the Magical Taruruuto-kun feature, and several Anpanman productions. Her ink and paint expertise was essential to the post-animation coloring stages that transformed line art into finished anime.
