Kazuko Hirose

Hirose contributed key animation to 17 episodes of the original Dragon Ball series, helping define the character designs and movement style that made early Dragon Ball memorable for audiences. Her work spanned the Emperor Pilaf Saga through the Piccolo Jr. Saga, including episodes like "The Ox King on Fire Mountain," "Krillin's Frantic Attack!," and "Kami vs. Piccolo." As a key animator, Hirose was responsible for the most expressive and dynamic poses, translating Akira Toriyama's designs into motion and establishing the emotional tone of critical scenes.
