Key Events

Kokuri lays out his past as an accountant who shuffled clients' money and pieced together from robbery reports that a sum belonged to the Mujina. He fled in a panic, unaware he still carried their latest haul, then donated it. Spotted by Mujina members, he escaped by leaping down a waterfall and swimming off. Trying to atone, he moved to stop a pickpocket, only for the woman to be the real thief, leaving him charged as her accomplice. Kamata, shaken because that donation aided his sister, lies to Benga that nothing connects Boruto and Kokuri, but Benga reads his tells, beats him, and has Haie throw him into solitary with an extended sentence. Meanwhile Shikamaru and Sai tell Naruto that Kusagakure has paroled Kokuri.
