Appearance

Standing well over three meters as a Longleg, Blue Gilly cuts an imposing figure with a thick neck, a squared jaw, a slender nose, and shoulder length indigo hair. His build is muscular, and his namesake long legs carry a noticeable coat of hair. For the colosseum he wore a brown long sleeved shirt dotted with orange and red, left open over his chest, paired with black briefs, knee pads marked by pink crosses, ankle wraps, and dark shoes, with a magenta S shaped tattoo on one thigh. As a toy he became a blue and yellow teddy bear in a purple vest. Afterward he switched to a high collared charcoal jacket with star insignia, and later a gold hoodie.

Personality

Self assured in his fighting, Blue Gilly relishes needling his opponents and trusts his own skill completely. He proved sharp enough to sniff out Dagama's planned double cross and strike first. Unlike many freed from Sugar's curse, greed held no sway over him, and he chose to turn on the Donquixote Pirates rather than chase reward. He also carries none of his tribe's grudge against the Longarm people, untroubled even by serving under a Longarm captain. Like his kin, he proudly shows off his lengthy legs.

Abilities

Blue Gilly channels his Longleg heritage into Jao Kun Do, a kicking art that turns his legs into whip like weapons lashing out so fast their angle is nearly impossible to read. He toppled the seasoned B Block fighter Ricky, dropped Dagama with one kick, and walked away unharmed from those bouts. His durability is striking as well, since he absorbed Elizabello II's fortress shattering King Punch at point blank range and lived through it. He entered the tournament placed in B Block, eliminated bribed gladiators, defeated Ricky, and unmasked Dagama's betrayal before being floored by the King Punch alongside nearly everyone else. Thrown into the underground scrap heap, then turned into a toy and forced into the trade port, he reverted once Sugar fell unconscious. He afterward rallied with Luffy, Zoro, and Law, battling through Pica's stone giant and Doflamingo's officers, taking a kick to the neck from Dellinger before Mansherry's healing let the gladiators push back the shrinking Birdcage. Once the Marines pursued the escaping crews, he and his fellow fighters held the line, fled aboard the Yonta Maria, and his XXX Gym group swore allegiance to the Straw Hats. The alliance later became the Ideo Pirates and waded into a centuries old feud between Longleg and Longarm crews.
