Joseph

Tall and lanky, Joseph carries the double-jointed elbows that mark his Longarm heritage. A pale mask covers his face, streaked dark down its right side with blackened lips and nose and ringed by petal-shaped trim, and a tall hat striped vertically in red and white sits above it. In keeping with his fellow agents he wears a white suit and cape, his version of the cape trimmed with frills.

Joseph shares the cool professionalism common to CP0, placing his assignments ahead of everything else. For all his flat, unemotional manner, he holds some regard for his colleagues, quietly grieving when one of them was sent to his death.

Most of Joseph's capabilities stay hidden, but the mask he wears marks him as one of CP0's elite, by Nico Robin's reckoning. He walked away apparently unhurt after Kurozumi Orochi shot him in the head. As an agent of that top-tier Cipher Pol unit he can be taken for a master assassin versed in the Six Powers, and he was seen using Geppo to flee Onigashima.

Alongside Guernika and Gismonda, Joseph came to Dressrosa to wave off the reported removal of Doflamingo from the Warlords as a printing error and to hush the populace until a corrected notice ran; the trio was later spotted by Robin, Law, Caesar, and Usopp. In Wano he helped negotiate weapon supplies with Shogun Orochi, then tracked the raid on Onigashima from a guest room, praising the alliance's planning. He weighed how to handle the former agent Who's-Who, relayed orders to seize Robin while staying behind to watch the battle, and passed his partners grim updates on Kaido's losses. He informed Guernika of the Five Elders' command to disrupt Luffy's fight and prevent an awakening, then mourned him once the mission killed him. Escaping by Geppo, Joseph rejoined the fleet outside Wano, reported the return of Nika to his superiors, and was cut off after a clash with the Big Mom Pirates.
