Kyle

Standing tall with wide shoulders and an athletic frame, Kyle carries a solid, sturdy build. He has warm brown skin, and his black hair is trimmed into a crisp flat-top with faded sides. A tidy goatee and heavy brows round out his face. His wardrobe leans toward the casual-professional, and he tends to appear in a button-down layered over a plain white tee, once notably a soft pink shirt. He is frequently seen with an armful of folders, hinting at someone dependable and well organized.

Warm and easygoing, Kyle comes across as a genuinely good-natured young man. He makes conversation without effort, treats people kindly, and lights up when the subject turns to comic books, a passion that shapes many of his friendships.

Early in 2023, Kyle first crosses paths with Amber Bennett in a hallway and invites her to a fraternity gathering. At the party he tells her that Upstate University is about far more than social events, praising its academic offerings. When Amber teases that he seems too studious for a frat, he agrees his girlfriend says the same, adding that she plans to transfer over the following term and that he misses her. That autumn he turns up at another frat event playing a ping-pong drinking game.

Roughly a year on, not long after Amber's split from Mark Grayson, the two begin dating. Kyle's first meeting with Mark at a bowling alley starts awkwardly, but the tension melts once they realize they both love the Seance Dog comics, and the shared interest turns them into close friends. Later, while together in Amber's room, the pair receive an alert that Invincible variants are assaulting the planet. One of those variants tears through and destroys the university, leaving whether Kyle and Amber survived unresolved.
