Nagi Yoshino

Slim and youthful in build, Nagi keeps her dark hair cropped to about shoulder length and looks at the world through brown eyes. The family likeness between her and Junpei runs deep, since the two share almost identical facial features. Her everyday outfit pairs a violet long-sleeved top with black trousers cinched by a pale belt, finished off with light blue sandals.

Approachable and relaxed, Nagi pours her affection into her son and wants nothing more than to see him surrounded by friends. That is why she warms to Yuji the instant they meet. Her parenting style, however, comes with a careless streak. She drinks, she smokes, and she lets Junpei stay home from class whenever he feels like it, trusting that success can reach him by a road other than formal schooling. Yuji needs only one evening in her company to decide she is genuinely a wonderful person.

Heading back from the grocery store, Nagi spots Junpei beside a stranger and walks over to greet them. Her son lectures her, snatching her cigarette and pressing her once more to quit for her health. Undeterred, she brings Yuji along to dinner, where the three trade jokes and laughter. She tries to coax Yuji into a Mononoke impression, missing the film reference entirely and leaving Junpei in stitches instead. Tired out, she nods off at the table. Waking to an empty room, she assumes Yuji has gone home, then notices one of Sukuna's severed fingers on the floor and lifts it in puzzlement, never realizing that a cursed spirit drawn to the object now looms behind her. Her killing is never depicted directly, but incident records noted that her body was discovered with its lower half gone, placed in the bedroom under a sheet and surrounded by ice and cold packs.
