Noritoshi Kamo

Standing taller than nearly every classmate at Kyoto Jujutsu High, with only Aoi Todo above him, Noritoshi keeps his gray eyes shut most of the time and wears his black hair to match the role assigned to him. During his years as the Kamo heir he bound two strands at the front while letting the remainder fall to his neck, dressing in a dark blue shozoku take on the school uniform with white socks and zori. Once the clan turned him out, he traded that look entirely: the hair came off into a short, spiky cut, and the uniform vanished. He now favors a black long-sleeved turtleneck beneath a breastplate over the left of his chest, a hip-spanning waist guard that holds his arrow quiver, and white-trimmed black pants and shoes.

A complicated household produced a young man who is composed, detached, and quietly burdened. For years Noritoshi felt obligated to carry the Kamo ideals and behaved as a proper heir should, leading his peers yet warped by the conservative camp's poisoned thinking. Told to put down Yuji Itadori because the boy held Sukuna, he insisted the choice was his own, a desperate move to satisfy the family. His mother anchors everything he does, and after the clan tore the two of them apart he chased influence so he could one day bring her back into a home of his making. A real conversation with Yuji upended that, since he saw they were not so different, both nudged toward helping people by someone who loved them, and the realization moved him enough that he let himself be struck out during the Goodwill Event's baseball game. Seeking his mother out afterward, he discovered she had built a new family, and between that and his exile he came to believe he had nowhere left and mattered to no one. Unshackled from the clan, he grew softer and more himself, his conviction giving way to grief, choosing to spend his life for his comrades, and his bond with Maki deepened as she urged him to speak to his mother once more.

As a third-year ranked semi-grade 1, Noritoshi handles solo assignments and supervises sorcerers below him. The clan's treasured Blood Manipulation came to him as its former heir, giving him command over all of his blood; arrows tipped in it can be guided after release in defiance of physics. He blends innate gifts with a keen mind and trained body, dueling Megumi evenly and combining with allies against the special grade Hanami, where his stubborn planning helped reveal the curse's weakness. The technique spawns several forms: Flowing Red Scale lifts his temperature, heart rate, and red blood cell count for a doping-style surge; Crimson Binding spreads blood into a snaring net; Slicing Exorcism whirls a blood wheel into a thrown blade; Convergence packs his blood down tight as a setup for other moves; and Piercing Blood launches a swift, flesh-rending beam from a condensed orb. Cool under pressure, he later stood firm against the vengeful curse of Naoya Zenin, spitting blood into the enemy's air inlet and pulling externally spent blood back inside to stave off blood loss while he covered for Maki.
