Summary

Key Events

Baffled, Yuji asks why Aoi would press him about his type in the middle of a fight, and Aoi maintains he only wants a feel for his opponent. Yuji answers that he favors tall women with big rear ends, the exact same taste as Aoi himself. That shared preference sparks a fabricated memory in Aoi's head: he pictures the two chatting during their school days about the crush he held on Takada-chan, the rejection that followed, and Yuji lifting his spirits with an offer of ramen. The vision brings Aoi to tears as he announces that he and Yuji are best friends now.

Looking on from overhead, Momo pins down Yuji's location, and her teammates move in to cut him down with their jujutsu, leaving Yuji quick to grasp that they aim to kill him. To break up the ambush, Aoi triggers his cursed technique, scrambling everyone's positions, and lashes out at Noritoshi first, then forces his own side to fall back and insists on a one-on-one against Yuji. Megumi catches Momo off guard with Nue and drops her from the sky, after which he and Maki ambush Noritoshi's retreating group. Maki squares off with Kasumi while Megumi takes on Noritoshi, choosing to ask him point-blank whether the Kyoto students intend to murder Yuji.
