Ice Ply

Geten wields this long range Emitter Meta Ability, seen first in Chapter 227 of the manga and Episode 109 of the anime. Whatever ice sits in his surroundings answers him: he gathers it, drives it, strikes with it, and hides behind it. His documented reach stretches across an entire town.

An Awakening later widened the toolkit. Past that point he could work on the temperature of ice itself, which meant turning standing water solid and handing himself more material to command.

The line separating him from Frost, the Quirk his distant relative Rei Todoroki carries, is creation. Geten only steers what already exists. Strip the water and ice out of a battlefield and his power has nothing to grip, which leaves him badly exposed in dry ground.

Years of drilling turned that limitation into precision. He shapes ice into elaborate constructs, colossal fists among them, and a full dragon. For travel he raises a platform beneath himself and streaks around on it. Once temperature came under his control, the scale of his attacks grew accordingly: freezing a water supply let him wipe out the army of clones Twice produced with Double.

The same trick doubles as armor against heat. Dropping the temperature of his constructs let him hold off Dabi's Blueflame, at least for a while, keeping ice intact against fire that should have erased it.

Geten is the only known user. Rei Todoroki, a distant relative, holds the related but distinct Frost, and Geten's clashes with Dabi and with Twice's Double army stand as the Meta Ability's clearest showcases.
