Geten, surname Himura, is the hooded cryokinetic of the Meta Liberation Army, later serving among the Paranormal Liberation Front's nine lieutenants. He never chased heroism or schooling, only power, and he fought Dabi to a standstill before the Paranormal Liberation War ended with him in custody.
A fur-lined hood keeps his face out of sight, attached to a thick, light blue parka that hangs past the knee and fastens down the middle with seven brown buttons. Black baggy pants and laced winter boots complete it. Push the hood back and there is messy white hair cut to uneven lengths, long eyelashes in the same shade, and silver-grey eyes that keep glowing even while the rest of him sits in shadow.
Geten is a true believer, loyal to the Liberation Army and its doctrine down to the bone. Re-Destro gave him more power, and the gratitude runs deep; what he wants in return is a world ordered by strength, with the greatest superpowers seated at the top. He told Dabi outright that where a person sits in society would come down to how strong their Meta Ability is, that raising it would be the only real way to live, and that below that line life carries no value at all.
Anything that obstructs Re-Destro sets him off. When heroes broke into the Gunga Mountain Villa and interrupted his leader's plans, he shouted at the dogs of the state that no painless death awaited any of them. Pride in his own Meta Ability runs just as hot, since he honed it for years instead of attending school or aiming at a hero career, convinced a person's worth is measured only by the strength of their power. That obsession cut both ways. Fighting Cementoss to a draw rather than a win left him in tears, disappointed in himself.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Sitting near the top of the Meta Liberation Army, Geten proved formidable by any measure. Having spent most of his life refining Ice Ply, he shapes elaborate constructs out of it and rides the material as well, hoisting or flinging his own body skyward to stay a step ahead of opponents. He can also seed his ice into water sources, and dropping the temperature widens his control dramatically. Re-Destro rated him a genuine asset to the army.
At the Revival Celebration he traded blows with Dabi, one of the League of Villains' most dangerous figures, and neither man broke the stalemate. He also erased a huge portion of Twice's Sad Man's Parade clone army, took M.L.A. members down with it, and leveled a significant slice of Deika City. The scale of that destruction left Mr. Compress awestruck enough to name him the single greatest threat the League faced. At the Gunga Mountain Villa he pinned down a large group of Pro Heroes on his own, Mt. Lady included, until Cementoss ambushed him and Re-Destro had to intervene. Defeat finally arrived at the close of the Paranormal Liberation War.
Strategy is a real weapon in his hands. Against Dabi he already knew the blue flames made him the League's only wide-range fighter, and he asked why the Quirk stayed dormant while fully aware of Dabi's cooldown. He then played on that arrogance and the assumed Quirk-type advantage by faking his own defeat, only to walk back onto the field unharmed. Having noticed and smelled the man's festering skin, he pointed out that the flames consume Dabi's body and cap how long he can fight. Co-commanding the Violet Regiment, he also handled command work directly, issuing orders to counter the heroes' assault during the siege on the Villa.
Ice Ply lets him move any ice near him freely, gathering it, attacking with it, defending with it, across a radius roughly the size of an entire town. An Awakening in his past added temperature control over water molecules, so he can freeze whatever water lies inside that radius and manufacture more material to work with. The catch is that he manipulates ice and never creates it, so anywhere without water or ice on hand leaves him badly exposed.

Yes, Geten can seed his ice into nearby water sources, and dropping the temperature around him widens his control significantly. This power came from a Quirk Awakening that gave him temperature control over water molecules.
Geten's name means apocrypha, referring to a story of unknown author or origin.
Yes, Geten underwent a Quirk Awakening in his past that expanded his Ice Ply ability beyond simply moving existing ice. The catch is that he still cannot create ice from nothing, so any area without water or ice on hand leaves him vulnerable.
