The remedial course closes with Endeavor telling his son he intends to become a hero worth being proud of, and Shoto refusing to make it easy for him. Weeks later, after Nighteye's funeral, Izuku catches Yuga Aoyama watching him through a window at night.
Katsuki Bakugo blasts apart the ice slides that Inasa and Shoto raised while the Masegaki teacher thanks them for reaching her class. Camie, Inasa, and Shoto join the children in cleaning up. Their instructor and the teacher talk over the class's conduct, with Kugo Sakamata placing the duty of teaching responsible Quirk use squarely on her, and she pledges to take it on.
With the training over, the four head out. Beyond the doors, the Shiketsu teacher and Seiji Shishikura fall into conversation with Present Mic and All Might. The teacher tells Camie that her school and U.A. are beginning to coordinate in order to understand why she was targeted.
While Seiji floats the idea of joint exercises between the schools, Endeavor comes to Shoto and remarks on how much he has changed. He reaches for his son's shoulder and Shoto knocks the hand aside. Endeavor says it anyway: he is proud of his son, and he means to become a hero worth that pride in return. Inasa watches the exchange as Shoto grudgingly shuts it down, telling his father to do as he likes. Moved by the change he has seen in the man, Inasa punches himself in the face to work up the nerve, then tells Endeavor he will be rooting for him, and Endeavor thanks him for it. Progress, for the man and the trainees both, is arriving in inches.
Days pass, September ends, and October opens. Shota Aizawa, Toshinori, and Izuku's intern group attend Sir Nighteye's funeral. The internship program is suspended for the time being, and Juzo Moashi assumes control of Nighteye's agency while Mirio Togata's return is awaited. Eri regains consciousness, but her mental state remains fragile, so Izuku and the others still cannot see her in person. It also emerges that Rewind originates in the horn on her forehead, and that her fever has shrunk the horn down to a small lump.
In Class 1-A, an equation is giving everyone trouble. Izuku reasons his way toward an answer, misses, and Momo Yaoyorozu supplies the correction. Tenya Ida and Ochaco Uraraka praise the effort anyway and invite him to lunch. Yuga Aoyama abruptly pushes cheese into Izuku's mouth, startling him, and when Tenya offers him a seat, Yuga declines and eats alone.
Of everyone in the class, Yuga is the one Izuku has never managed to read. That night Izuku switches off his light and goes to bed, unaware that Yuga is staring at him through the window. From this point on, Izuku begins to grasp what Yuga really is.
U.A. and Shiketsu open discussions on a future partnership, prompted in part by the attack on Camie.
Endeavor tells Shoto he means to become a hero his son can be proud of, and Inasa offers the new number one his support.
The interns attend Nighteye's funeral, and the work-study program is suspended. Eri wakes but stays isolated, and her Quirk is traced to the horn on her forehead. That night, Yuga watches Izuku through his bedroom window.

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
