Summary

Koichi Haimawari plays tour guide while his mother Shoko and Makoto Tsukauchi take in the sights, keeping his temper level the way his father taught him. A stall of All Might merchandise catches him, and he buys an exclusive hoodie even after Shoko calls it money thrown away. At the bus stop she jokes that she would rather keep Makoto than her own son.

A stray cat wanders onto the same bus and takes a Trigger injection from one of Kuin Hachisuka's bees, who watches the whole thing unfold. The drug pushes its Monster Cat Quirk far past normal and the animal fuses with the vehicle. What rolls away is a cat-shaped bus with nobody steering, a danger to its passengers and to everyone in the street.

Knuckleduster clocks the commotion and nearly walks past it, since an animal cannot give him the intelligence he hunts for. Then he registers who is riding inside. He calls Kazuho Haneyama in, and she turns up carrying duct tape and a feather duster. Ingenium boards and finds a driver with no brakes and no steering, and the Pro Hero grasps immediately that something this large will not stop easily. Koichi spots his master out ahead of the vehicle waving an improvised toy, which he lobs behind himself so the creature swerves after it.

The route is an express lane running toward a destroyed overpass, which leaves the heroes about five minutes. Team Pit O2 pulls alongside with a truck and their newest recruit, Enigma, whose Quirk lifts the passengers across. Koichi's group is last in line, but Kuin doses the cat again and it tears away with Makoto still on board. Ingenium runs dry on fuel just short of the last rescue, and The Crawler arrives in time to top him off. With under two minutes on the pit crew's count, the pair make their move.
