Chapter 50: Defend the Tower!

Captain Celebrity opens the chapter by parading a family photograph taken just after the birth of his son, Pamela included, in front of the Sky Egg crowd, then dialing her live from the stage. Pamela is anything but flattered that a private image reached an arena of strangers, and she ends the call. Makoto Tsukauchi quietly shuffles the running order so the American hero can apologize offstage.

With the other pros cycling through their acts, Makoto sends Koichi Haimawari to retrieve the missing headliner. Koichi tracks him to the observation deck, phone still pressed to his ear. A glance through the glass changes everything: a building is burning below, and five winged shapes are closing on the tower, identical to the thing that ambushed Captain Celebrity at Christmas.

One Bomber fastens itself to the observatory glass and detonates. The pressure drop hurls Koichi into open air, and only his Quirk keeps him pinned to the tower instead of dropping hundreds of meters. Captain Celebrity charges outside and shrugs off a second blast, which turns out to be bait. An oversized Bomber latches onto the support tower and blows through the infrastructure, leaving the dome and everyone inside it primed to fall.

Catching the failing structure with raw strength, the hero pins himself in place and surrenders every option he had. That helplessness is precisely what the Scarred Man engineered. He releases a Bomber tailored to this one opponent: six arms, punches that detonate on contact, and limbs that grow back. The beating is relentless, yet Captain Celebrity insists he can absorb hundreds more and still keep the dome aloft. Koichi's panicked shouting is interrupted when an All Might hoodie, a special edition, lands on top of him.

Pamela, the wife of Christopher Skyline, debuts in the series by way of a photograph and a phone screen.

The Bombers strike the Tokyo Sky Egg during the live event, and the largest of them cripples the support tower.

Captain Celebrity takes the weight of the damaged structure onto himself, which strips him of any ability to fight back.

The Scarred Man reveals a Bomber built specifically to counter Captain Celebrity, armed with explosive fists and regenerating limbs.

Serialization ran this installment under the title Farewell Party (お別れ会, O Wakarekai). The name was changed for the collected volume.

Nineteen of its twenty-one pages were adapted as episode 23 of the Vigilantes anime, with the final two carrying over into episode 24.

The chapter was published on March 23, 2019, and later collected in volume 7 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and drawn by Betten Court. Its cover features Captain Celebrity alongside Pamela.
