Chapter 7 (Team-Up Missions)

Present Mic runs his broadcast, Put Your Hands Up Radio, with All Might sitting in as guest. Once introductions are done, the show moves into its Put You on the Spot segment, built around anonymous listener letters. All Might privately admires the man's double talent as hero and entertainer, and hopes to hold his own well enough to keep things enjoyable.

Letter one arrives from a writer calling himself Mr. Very Tall and Handsome, who complains that girls treat him like garbage and asks for guidance. All Might starts to suggest examining the underlying cause, but Present Mic overrides him: the answer is a rap. The concept of a diss track has to be explained outright, after which All Might grasps that this is how his colleague resolves matters, whether or not it fully makes sense to him.

The next writer, Mr. Down With Class A, insists his own class is superior and wants a way to prove it to the troublemakers across the hall. A presentation backed by facts and evidence is All Might's first instinct, though he swiftly falls in line with the rap answer, earning props from his host.

Mr. President Elect writes in third, describing an N.M. who keeps turning up at his class's dorms trying to bait them into conceding, and asks how to be rid of him. All Might puts the pieces together, recognizes Neito Monoma and Tenya Ida behind the letters, and scrambles to defuse the feud before it becomes a war of words. He heads off another diss-track pitch with a musical interlude, then nervously proposes that the visitor may simply be reaching out clumsily and should not be driven away. Present Mic brushes past the answer.

The last letter comes from Mr. Jamming-yayy, who says everyone at school writes him off as an idiot when he is merely poor at schoolwork. All Might, now fully converted, recommends dissing them with a rap, only for Present Mic to tell the boy to study harder.

All Might appears as the guest on Put Your Hands Up Radio and works through the show's listener advice corner. Present Mic's blanket prescription of a diss track gradually wins him over, and he learns what such a track actually is.

The letters from Mr. Down With Class A and Mr. President Elect turn out to be Neito Monoma and Tenya Ida sniping at each other on air, and All Might steers around escalating the Class 1-A versus Class 1-B rivalry. The finale inverts the running joke when All Might offers the rap answer for Denki Kaminari's letter and Present Mic tells him to study instead.

Yoco Akiyama wrote and illustrated this seventh installment of My Hero Academia: Team-Up Missions, a twelve-page chapter collected in volume two and published October 1, 2020. It sits between chapters 6 and 8.
