Daemon loosens his hold on Sarada and Sumire, and when Sarada demands to know why he spared them, Ada puzzles over their immunity to Omnipotence. It is not simple infatuation with Boruto, since plenty of girls carry crushes on him and Kawaki, so Ada concludes she has unconsciously carved out an exception for these two. She recalls telling them she longs for real friendships, and admits she would accept death from them if they were the ones to deliver it. Touched, Sarada takes Sumire's hand and the pair pull Ada into an embrace, calling it proof of their resolve and their honest bond, and Daemon grins as Ada thanks them. Elsewhere Koji Kashin briefs Boruto, Inojin, and a listening Shikamaru on Mamushi's Division, a power that spawns endless true copies with no loss of strength but a steep drop in wits each time.

Koji lays out the counter: let Mamushi split until he is a fool, then destroy both eyes of every copy at once, keeping the count near twenty or thirty since the copies instinctively cluster together. He insists the fight must happen inside Konoha to avoid provoking Jura, who prizes the village and refuses to wreck it, and he tasks Inojin with mastering an advanced version of the Mind Body Transmission Technique within two days, a jutsu tied to a possible future where Himawari dies by Jura's hand. Inojin vows to learn it in one. In Amado's lab, Kawaki grabs the scientist by the throat and forces him to grant more power despite the risk of self-destruction, leveraging their deal over Amado's daughter. Shikamaru secretly recruits Konohamaru during Kobu's interrogation, and Boruto hands Sumire a research scroll to reforge his chipped blade, telling her to drop the "Class Rep" title and use her name. Days later, Mamushi slips into the village with a handful of copies, masking their chakra to begin the hunt for Ada.
