Summary

Naruto reaches Boruto's side as Code sizes up the situation and Ada forbids him from sacrificing Kawaki. Code moves to withdraw, freeing Shikamaru and warning Kawaki that someone will always try to use him. Refusing to let him slip away, Kawaki shrinks the Claw Marks with Sukunahikona faster than Code can replace them, then vows to strike down anyone who endangers Naruto, Boruto included. When taijutsu fails to shake Kawaki off, Code grows uneasy. Shikamaru rushes to Naruto, who is too stunned to hold Sage Mode, and urges him to help Kawaki finish Code, reminding him that Boruto made his choice to shield them all. As Kawaki charges a blast, Code reaches into the Claw Mark on his own face and drags Daemon through, whose reflective power hurls Kawaki backward. Daemon is eager for a real fight, but Code sends him back to Ada and, admitting he cannot beat Kawaki in his current state, decides to have Amado strip away his limiters before leaving.

Shikamaru presses Naruto on how they will handle Kawaki, who cut down a comrade without a flicker of hesitation, warning of fallout from the other villages and even from within Konoha. Naruto wants to stand by the boy he took into his family, and Shikamaru quietly wonders whether that is possible now that Kawaki has killed his son. Then Boruto's voice cuts in, teasing his father for writing him off so quickly. Naruto breaks into tears and pulls him into an embrace as Shikamaru notices the wound in Boruto's chest has sealed completely.

Momoshiki's soul surfaces to explain the rescue: because destroying Boruto as a vessel would erase Momoshiki himself, he used part of the Kāma to rebuild him, overwriting the leftover compressed data with Boruto's own so it could regrow his tissue. The tradeoff is that Momoshiki can no longer be reborn in that body, which Boruto counts as a win. Momoshiki cools his triumph, noting that whether rewritten or not, all Kāma data is Ōtsutsuki, so Boruto is now a full Ōtsutsuki and a fitting offering for the Ten-Tails, a truth Code will grasp before long. Momoshiki cautions that this revival is a one-time reprieve. Asked whether this is the death he once foretold, Momoshiki laughs it off as unrelated, admitting he has no idea why it will happen, only that it will, and soon. Elsewhere, Ada points out that Amado sits protected deep in Konoha where Code holds no Claw Mark, and Code replies that he has already arranged for that.
