Hiramera

Hiramera's light pink hair is bound into loose, flowing pigtails above a yellow tail dappled with deeper yellow markings. She wears lipstick and a pearl-trimmed purple top cut to show cleavage. The manga gives her a long frilled fin running down each side of her tail, a detail the anime drops.

Sharing the gentle, affectionate nature common to mermaids, Hiramera is playful and good-humored, and like her friends she warms to Sanji. When the crew was branded as kidnappers, she stood up for them, insisting they were decent folk and friends of Camie.

Being a mermaid, Hiramera breathes underwater, communicates with fish through sonar, and ranks among the swiftest swimmers anywhere. She is also an accomplished dancer, one of the five headline performers of the Mermaid Cafe, and is regarded as a fashion leader and a figure of some influence among her kind. She first welcomed the Straw Hats at Mermaid Cove when Camie brought them in, and the mermaids hid the crew from the three princes, until a nosebleed from Sanji and an attack by Hammond gave them away; the princes only wanted to pass Jinbe's message to Luffy. After Caribou abducted Ishilly, Fillonce, and another mermaid and the Straw Hats fell under suspicion, Hiramera vouched for them again to the Ammo Knights, then looked baffled at news the crew had supposedly seized Ryugu Palace. Once the crew was cleared and the clash with the New Fish-Man Pirates had concluded, she danced at the palace banquet and saw them off to the New World. Some time later she and her friends spotted Caribou trying once more to snatch a mermaid.
