Keroko

Keroko was a diminutive elderly woman, her pale face marked by pink lipstick and wrinkles across the forehead and beneath the eyes. She wore a pink dress trimmed with a white collar and white shoes. Her frog cap, pink and red with a yellow bow and the usual plant shoot, had wide eyes drawn with lashes to signal that she alone among the Wise Men was female. She was also the only one of the four who went without gloves.

Keroko's grasp on reality could be skewed, as when she claimed Nami was only slightly younger than herself. The same cruelty her crew shared ran through her, and she delighted in seeing rival pirates turn against each other. Oddly, her taunts sometimes carried useful hints, such as telling Nami the rescue boxes could douse a fire. She joined the others in their Kerokerokero laughter.

Little is documented about Keroko's raw strength, but she handled speedboats and excelled at improvised distractions. A small grill built into her boat let her smoke fish and meat to blind opponents, and she used chopsticks and a fan to fling burning coals onto rival craft and set them ablaze. She likely drove as well, though she was only shown as a passenger beside her partner Kerojii. Long ago she sailed the Grand Line with the Red Arrows Pirates in Roger's time, died with them in a storm, and was revived by the Lily Carnation. During the race she and Kerojii harried Nami and Usopp with smoke and coals while mocking the pair. After Zoro and Sanji defeated the other duo, Keroko had already been snared off-screen, and the Wise Men jeered the victors. The death of the Lily Carnation turned her into a plant.
