Lassoo

Cast in sandy brown and shaped much like a bazooka, Lassoo carries grips on either flank and a barrel with a molded contour. A nagging cold keeps him sniffling and sneezing nonstop, and each sneeze sends a cannonball flying. Whether this stems from a genuine sickness or is merely a side effect of a lifeless gun taking in a Devil Fruit has never been pinned down.

Having swallowed the Zoan-type, Dachshund-model Inu Inu no Mi, he can take the form of a dachshund, in effect a firearm that walks. The change grants him beastly awareness and the freedom to move, turning him into a roaming artillery piece. During a fight he behaves like a pitching machine, feeding ammunition for his master to strike. When Mr. 4 gives the word, Lassoo hacks up what seems an endless run of explosive baseballs. To Usopp's shock, these do not burst on contact but only once an internal timer expires. Chopper noted that each weighs as much as a cannonball, which scuttled his idea of hurling them back before they detonated. Mr. 4, by contrast, batters the projectiles with a four-ton bat, launching them at terrific speed and pinpoint accuracy.

During the Arabasta Arc, Lassoo joined forces with Mr. 4 and the agent Miss Merry Christmas to take on Usopp and Chopper. The trio fell when Usopp goaded Mr. 4 into clubbing Miss Merry Christmas with the heavy bat. Amid the confusion Usopp fired a hammer into Mr. 4's belly, using Chopper's horns like a slingshot, and the blow flung Mr. 4 into Lassoo and dashed both against a stone wall. One last explosive baseball from Lassoo then knocked out the entire group. The Marines hauled him off alongside the other Baroque Works members after Crocodile went down.

Later, during Miss Goldenweek's rescue scheme, Miss Valentine, Mr. 5, and Miss Goldenweek broke into the Marine base and freed several captives: Mr. 4, Lassoo, plus the pair Miss Doublefinger and Miss Merry Christmas. From then on he served as mascot of the rebuilt Spiders Cafe. A Color Trap by Miss Goldenweek once exposed his secret wish, revealing that Lassoo longs to become a tank, and at the new cafe he indeed shows up in tank form. He holds the distinction of being the first inanimate object shown to wield a Devil Fruit in the series, and dog food is his favorite meal.
