Musshuru

His mushroom-themed Devil Fruit echoes in his very design: the curve of his skull and the pink hair above it form a fungus-cap shape, a mask-like band crosses his eyes, and a dark beard hangs at his chin. Royal armor covers him, with shoulder guards, orange trousers, puffy footwear, and a weasel-pelt scarf over the left shoulder, while a violet cape wraps the right half of his body. He clearly shares blood with Wapol and their late father, yet differs from both by standing tall and slim and looking stranger overall.

An arrogant and brutal streak runs through Musshuru. He thrashes Luffy while sneering at Chopper and slipping past every blow aimed at him, and he spares no thought for his own allies, loosing a thick burst of toxic spores that drops Chess and Kuromarimo without a flicker of guilt as they writhe. He hungers for a fight, choosing to toy with a defiant Luffy while leaving Wapol to ready the kingdom's takeover. Like his brother he carries a verbal quirk, branding everyone "Kabayarou," meaning hippo-head, capping many lines with "oi," and laughing "Mushushushu" in a pun on his own name.

Musshuru consumed the Noko Noko no Mi, a Paramecia Devil Fruit that lets him emit and steer poisonous spores deadly enough to wipe out Drum Island's people, though flame neutralizes them and an antidote exists. Unlike Wapol, he fights as a physical bruiser, quick enough to rival CP9's Soru and strong enough to punch through a castle spire. Roughly twenty years before the film, after he unleashed his spores, Drum exiled him to the Land of Fire, where flame canceled his power. When Blackbeard overran Drum, Wapol retrieved his brother, secretly intending to turn those spores on Drum's population and resettle the land with his own soldiers.

In the ninth movie, Episode of Chopper Plus, he climbs the mountain to the castle alongside Wapol. He fights Luffy on even footing before pulling ahead with speed and poison, knocks Chopper out as well, and is about to finish them when the remaining Straw Hats arrive. Usopp shoots and ignites him while Robin doses Luffy with the antidote, after which a Gear Second Luffy turns the tide, battering him with Jet Bazooka and smashing him through the castle's tallest spire. Wapol then swallows both his brother and the Bliking Cannon to form a hybrid, but the crew wrecks his poison bomb and Luffy hurls him off the island, with Franky burning the stray spores. He later appears alongside Wapol and the Evil Black Drum Kingdom at the Pirates Festival in One Piece: Stampede.
