The Risky Brothers are a pair of male pirates sailing under Lola in the Rolling Pirates. Once counted among Gecko Moria's victims, they joined the alliance of shadowless people on Thriller Bark and went on to aid the Straw Hats during the showdown there.
The two brothers contrast sharply in build, one being short and rounded while the other stands tall and lean. The stocky brother covers his face with a black mask wrapped in a bandage, has curly dark hair, tanned skin, full lips, and a touch of stubble; he dresses in a ragged white shirt and torn black tie with brown trousers, keeps bandages on his wrists, and slings a sizable sword across his chest on a brown strap. His sibling, lanky by comparison, sports curly light-brown hair with loose strands, heavy dark rings around his eyes, and similar chin stubble, wearing a frayed striped shirt of dark blue and light green over light grey trousers.
Following the timeskip, the rounder brother turned up in a cleaner pale shirt with matching pale trousers decorated by dark flowers, while the taller one switched to a vertically striped shirt paired with dark pants and shoes.
A measure of courage runs in the pair, shown when they shielded their fellow shadowless allies in the closing battle, yet Gecko Moria and the memory of losing their own shadows still leave them shaking with fear. The two think and react almost as one, voicing identical views, such as their admiration for the nerve behind Zoro's sacrifice and their respect for Sanji. They also tend to copy those they look up to, both echoing Sanji's words when explaining what had happened to Zoro.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...
Standing out among the crew alongside Lola, the brothers were leading figures in the alliance of Thriller Bark's victims. They helped Lola pack one hundred shadows into Luffy to form Nightmare Luffy, and they guarded those who had lost their shadows during the clash against Oars and Moria. Fixated on recovering their shadows yet timid by nature, they dreaded both Moria and the danger of dying in their shadowless state. After Moria fell, the pair joined the Straw Hats and the rest of the victims in facing Bartholomew Kuma, only to be flattened by his strange Ursus Shock. They came to in time to see Zoro, and the attempted sacrifice by Sanji, play out.
Once the danger passed, they meant to explain the truth to the bewildered Straw Hats but were silenced by Sanji after they had told him and a listening Robin what occurred. Heading toward the New World, they offered the crew remarks and guidance, marveling especially at the loveliness of mermaids as Fish-Man Island drew near and suggesting these mermaids could outshine even Boa Hancock. After the timeskip the brothers and Lola appear at a Water 7 bar run by Mozu and Kiwi. In non-canon material they attend the Pirates Festival, and later, at Dressrosa, they thank the Fire Tank Pirates for Gotti rescuing Lola before joining the celebration at Lola and Gotti's wedding.
